TSPSC earlier issued group 1 notification for 503 vacancies across various departments on April 26,2022.The commission conducted the prelims examination on October 16 2022 and declared the result in January. Due to paper leakage issue the commission cancelled the prelims exam on march 18,2023 and re conducted prelims exam on June 11 2023.
The high court issued an order to cancel the prelims exam again based on the petition filed by few aspirants stating ‘Biometric of the candidates were not taken unlike the previous prelims exam.
The then government went to the supreme court challenging the verdict of the High court of Telangana.
The commission to withdrew the petition and issued a webnote on cancellation of group 1 notification No.04/2022 issued on 26/02022.
A new notification with an increase of 60 posts (total 563) posts is to be released soon.
